Trading Review: 02-08-2018
Gross PnL: -$797.
Net PnL: -$866. $50 in borrows.
Wanted to expand on what I said yesterday about locking in a few small(ish) positive days in a row. It will help mitigate overconfidence, which is what I experienced a bit today.
UVXY - took the good stop, but was sort of just an add, add, add scenario; so not ideal.
TEVA - Had a really dumb add, which was the big overconfident part today. Not having that add would have been a bit of a game changer and probably a net b/e trade.
NXTD - Finally had a textbook setup and didn't make as much money on it as my biggest loser. That's just not right!

Gross PnL: $844.
Net PnL: +$722. $73 in borrows.
Pretty solid day really, and took stops where needed.
Got lucky with where I decided to stop trading on VXX, and unlucky on CBOE.
Was a little too biased on WYNN. Was up $700 (locked in), and thought it was worth fighting, despite obvious trend change/hold. Little annoyed I didn't reattack it into $180 (obvious spot).
Finally DRYS, took the good stop as planned; but had I withheld size and anticipated the games it would have been a profitable trade.
Something occurred to me, as I sat on the couch "relaxing" while feeling stressed out. I need to keep stringing together these +$100-$500 for a while. I am literally finding making money stressful - this obviously isn't helped by trading a 24/7 market.
If I can build some consistent days, my psychological capital will be higher AND I won't be stressed out (when I shouldn't be).

Trading Review: 02-06-2018
Gross PnL: +$6257.
Net PnL: +$6149. $41 in borrows.
Pretty sick day, and traded the opportunity overall pretty well.
Essentially did a great job of maxing out the opportunity early, then I had exactly the right read on what should follow; but messed it up by expecting it to be perfectly trading (like the open for example) - when in reality of course it is going to chop around a bit.
Overall, it's time for me to try and slow down just a tad. Had those 3 negatives days in a row prior to this week; which should never happen based on how I trade. So need to be mindful, focus on good process, keeping sizes acceptable, and losses under control. Have wired out accordingly.
What I am happy with today is that I hit my stops, and traded my plan. Whenever I entered a trade later in the day, it was always sort of obvious after the fact that it was going to chop around; but I hadn't sized for chop - so hit my stops according to plan.

Gross PnL: +$2782.
Net PnL: +$2648. $110 in borrows.
Really sick day. It's a real pain because if I was disciplined Friday, and didn't extend the size of that loss then a day like today is a really big deal!
A couple of things to note about today that were amazing:
(1) Patience for NVDA entry. Got a spike down that filled most of shares on.
(2) Was very nicely disciplined, was never really oversized.
(3) Didn't take SVXY overnight, when was tempted to because I didn't know what would happen. In this end this has proved to be the right decision, and could have been a big loss.
(4) Sick management on XNET to get to quite a big size. If I had planned to stay up it would have been another $1000 trade.
Another indicator of todays patience. I paid for borrows on BSPM today, but there were better opportunities as BSPM didn't setup perfectly.

Net PnL: -$2373. $$96 in borrows.
Oh god so bad...
Had just had a massive bitcoin trade rejected by the server and couldn't get entry. Knew I was tilted but decided to take it easy. And yeah I was tilted and failed miserably.
The one thing I will say, I strongly felt that it wouldn't go on a big run, and was still fully prepared to put in a hard stop at least...

Gross PnL: -$146.
Net PnL: -$255. $59 in borrows.
Was a reasonable day, but few mistakes that cost me. Unfortunately missed two bids on BABA when I went mid-point and getting them would have made my day.
NFLX was somewhat of a boredom trade. Like the idea, but entries were terrible and should have been lower - thus loss being less.
Also was a bit silly with going to bed with positions on, without clear stop.
Other comment - not only too biased on PYPL but gave back too much of the mornings winner.

Net PnL: -$457. $4 in borrows.
Not too much to say, went for the bounce and never got it. Literally straight down.
There was an earlier spot to stop out though, so am a little annoyed by that. But honestly just happy that I took the loss, it could have been much worse. If this is my "big loser" after the good run I've had, I am very happy with how far I've come.
