Trading Review: 01-11-2018
Gross PnL: +$625.
Net PnL: ~$530.
Interesting day, was quite tired and began recognising that I wasn't in the right mindset. Patience was completely out the window, and impulsiveness was quite high.
Recognised this, set (wideish) stops and called it a day.
Given recent success very happy with this mentality, and taking appropriate actions to solve the problem.

Trading Review: 01-10-2018
Gross PnL: -$758.
Net PnL: -$845. $32 in borrows.
First decent mistake in a while, and was a little over the top sizing wise. LEDS overall was just a really sloppy trade - more below. But the recklessness adding on AMRH (second trade) and the LEDS trade was pretty poor. Deserved to take the loss on the LEDS trade.
Something I was really happy with today was my trade on BUDZ. I took it off where my pnl on trade required me to (I was comfortable adding if it went lower), rather than waiting out and hoping for my prices.
Similar goes for when I ate the loss on LEDS. Although trading pnl is bad, capital preservation is number 1.
Side note: On these scalps I need to look at the "quality of the play". For example AMRH the first scalp was great, volume, early in day etc. LEDS had bugger all volume and was just a piece of trash. I should have been much more weary, and when I identified the distribution (which I did) it should hold a lot more significance than on a better quality play.
KODK took a great stop, and was up decent prior to stop. Happy with that.

Trading Review: 01-09-2018
Gross PnL: +$730.
Net PnL: +$644.
Pretty cool day, two keyboard errors where I ended up double the size I wanted to be (on CANN and PTIE) but corrected mistakes for the most part, so happy about that.
Need to watch the confidence meter, keep sizes appropriate (low, and disciplined on stops). Confidence is good as it allows me to trade a bit more naturally which came in handy today on RIOT/XNET; however gotta watch it.
In particularly tomorrow on KODK I can't go over 500 shares, which is even arguably too much.
Other point to note: I gotta stop assigning so much importance to vwap pre 10:30.

Trading Review: 01-08-2018
Gross PnL: +$86.
Net PnL: -$45. (?) Doesn't quite make sense, probably some borrows from yesterday settling.
Got what I wanted done. That is, traded small didn't push anything too hard, kept discipline. Same again for tomorrow. Sooo important to focus on resetting mentality.
Overall, still not happen with quality/consistency of day-to-day trading. There were some decent opportunities today, and only needed to catch 1 or 2 - without forcing anything in between.

Trading Review: 01-05-2018
Gross PnL: +$2732.
Net PnL: +$2538. $103 in borrows.
The correct thing to do today was to scale back to normal size and try and lock in the previous day without putting on excess risk. So I essentially failed at that. Missed one stop completely, and eventually did the right thing on another - classic overconfidence example, don't know what I was doing shorting this early in the day in this environment.
In the past I have often given back 50% or more of a big profit day via overconfidence/whatever. Today I was probably at risk of giving back roughly 10-20%. So definitely an improvement in that area. Furthermore, I will not be withdrawing the recent pnl until the start of next week, because I have to prove to myself I can mentally reset, trade small and disciplined off that back of a decent win. I believe if I succeed that will be a big step to improvement.
Really nice final add on CPHI, terrible initial add (what the fuck was I thinking?!).

Trading Review: 01-04-2018
Gross PnL: +$4348.
Net PnL: +$4211. $111 in borrows.
Very cool day.
Was a little scary as I was prepared to risk $500-$700 on the initial trade (shorting 1000 shares into opening pop on CANN). But the situation was one of those ones where maximising it was the biggest problem.
The idea was already in play, shorting the shit out of CANN (and BUDZ but no borrows) the moment it went red. Then the AG news came out, which in the bigger scheme of things is pretty insignificant, but still spooked the market causing that massive gap down.
Then there was a moment where I could literally see the trade - tried to add 1000 shares on the low of day break, but only filled for 300.
I am really happy with the day for a couple of reasons:
(1) Mentality was pretty good, covered position in the right place and got the nice balance between conviction and not being greedy.
(2) Discipline/Flexibility of mindset. When I first covered the last half of short and flipped long I listened to the stock and cut it perfectly. Could have been quite nasty without cutting it there.
One thing I am a little annoyed about is: Was talking to Peter about how the long opportunity on the bounce was probably just as good an opportunity as the short, but that I would never be able to completely nail it.
I was all out of it sub vwap (didn't even last until vwap), and I fully expected a temporary push through vwap. Even accidentally flipped short at vwap (just an extra order sitting out there).
Overall pretty important to realise that it was a unique opportunity to push it, and I won't be pushing it like this pretty much ever.

Trading Review: 01-03-2018
Gross PnL: -$382.
Net PnL: -$452. $36 in borrows.
Planning on part time trading into foreseeable future as I focus on coins. So should be less tickers than this.
Definitely lost a bit much on CANN, but happy with the stop I took on it - it was decent size...
Funny at the time I was pissed I didn't take profit on CANN (which I tried to do but narrowly missed) while I was up a reasonable amount. However, hindsight the bigger opportunity was holding for the crack, so am happy enough.
TEUM long was unfortunate. Accidentally went double size, put it out immediately (correct mindset) but got dumped on, and took the stop like a champ.
HGSH only filled 25 of the 500 shares I was bidding. Would have been a monster trade, allbeit nervous trade because platform crashed.
